Adams Reappointed to Ellijay Housing Authority

Tonight, during the August 20th Ellijay City Council meeting, the Ellijay City Council reappointed Larry Adams to the Ellijay Housing Authority.Ellijay City Council Mayor Al Hoyle informed the council during tonight’s meeting that the Ellijay Housing Authority had requested for Larry Adams to maintain his position as a member of the authority. After hearing the authority’s request, city council member Al Fuller motioned for Adams to maintain his position, followed by a second by council member Katie Lancey. The council then unanimously approved the motion.

Adams’ position as a member of the Ellijay Housing Authority expired on August 11th which was the reason for the reappointment. His new term will expire August 11th, 2017.
