Mr. William Paul Ray age 86 of Old Hwy 5 South Ellijay died Saturday September 1, 2012.
Mr. Ray was born on September 8, 1925 in Barberton, OH. He is the son of the late John Will Ray and Carrie Mullinax Ray. He was a store owner and operator and a member of the US Army. He is preceded in death by his wife May Ann Elliott Ray, sisters Betty Ray Turner & Willie May Ray Clark and a brother Bud Ray.
Survivors include: Nephew & Niece: Ronnie & Glenda Sentell, Ellijay; Special Friend & Companion: Dot Rogers, Blue Ridge, GA; Special Friend: Ted Wilkins, Talking Rock, GA; Several other nieces & nephews also survive
Funeral services will be held Monday September 3, 2012 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor David Herring & Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating.
Interment will be held in the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday September 2nd from 4pm until 8pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
