The Mayor and City Council of the City of Ellijay presented a proposal of the operating budget for the calendar year 2013 at the regular scheduled meeting on September 17, 2012, at 6:00 pm at City Hall. The budget proposal is now available for review at City hall in the Mayor’s office. A public hearing will be held to discuss the proposed budget on October 1, 2012 at 5:15 pm at City Hall. The adoption of the budget will then tentatively take place during the regular meeting of the City Council on October 22, 2012, at City Hall at 6:00 pm.
