Some highlighted events for this weekend are:

1) First Fridays – Oct. 5th Downtown Ellijay 5-8pm with a fabulous Blue Grass /Americana Band from Dahlonega

to begin playing at 6:00pm, some wonderful local vendors, our fantastic downtown shops with specials etc. etc.

2) Scarecrow Celebration – Sat. Oct. 6th Better Hometown/DDA Ellijay has put together a fun day with many different activities! A walking scarecrow parade will begin at 11am from City Hall, A BBQ & Beer Garden from Wolf Creek BBQ, live music from Daisy Chain at 12:00 noon, a Corn Hole Tournament, etc. etc.

3) Crush Festival – Cartecay Vineyards Sat. Oct. 6th

4) Cherry Log Festival – Sat Oct. 6th & Oct. 7th
