After applying for the Amicalola Bright Ideas Grant, Mrs. Donna West and Mr. Ben Sexton were presented with checks on October 17th equaling $1,250. Mrs. West received $250 that will go toward her project titled “Operation Egg Hatch” where her students will be able to incubate eggs. Mr. Sexton received $1,000 which will be used to purchase musical instruments to enhance his music program. Ellijay Elementary School would like to express sincere appreciation to Amicalola EMC for their assistance in making these projects possible.
