Clinton M. Burdette age 86, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed Friday morning, October 26th, at the Gilmer Nursing Home. Mr. Burdette was a retired salesperson. He graduated from the Vermont Acadamy, was a United States Naval Veteran, serving abord the U.S.S. New York (battleship), during world war II.

He is survived by his children and in-law: Anne Parker Burdette of Blue Ridge, Cynthia Blackwell Burdette of Roanoke, Virginia, son, Clinton M. Burdette, Jr. of White Plains Junction, Vermont, grandchildren; Candice M. Nix of Ellijay, Georgia, Jeremy and Elizabeth Burdette, and three great grandchildren.

A military memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday morning, November 10th, at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion, with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating, and military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will take place at sea in the south Pacific by the United States Navy. Donations in memory of Mr. Clinton M.
