Mr. A.Z. Hall, Sr. age 84 of Hwy 52 East, Ellijay died Monday October 30, 2012.

Mr. Hall was born on December 31, 1927 in Holmes Co., FL. He is the son of the late Z. Hall and Martha Lou Creal Hall. He is retired from the U.S. Army with over 20 years of service and 9 years of civil service. He was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by a daughter Marsha Hall.

Survivors include wife Yvonne Martin Hall of the home, daughters & sons-in-law; Maxine Stafford & Leon Key, Ellijay, Judy & Ron Thompson, Texas, Cindy & Bobby Boudreau, Las Vegas, Susan & William Blair, Ellijay, Renee & Jason O’ Kelley, Ellijay, sons & daughters-in-law; A.Z. & Celena Hall, Jr., Ellijay, Chris Hall & Charae King, Ellijay, 14 grandchildren & spouses; Ben & Stacy Stafford, Allen “Squeaky” & Maria Stafford, Jason Stafford & Elizabeth Avery, Shane Cantrell, Nikki Cantrell, Marissa Hall, Brittney Hall, Julie Rogers, Chelsey Rogers, Steven Hall & Kinsey Hall, 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild, special friends; David Pilgrim, Kelly & Madi Dyer, Jenny Parker & Lindsey Clayton.

Funeral services will be held Friday November 2, 2012 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery With Military Rites by the U.S. Army.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 1st from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
