Daniel “Danny” Jack Laukka, Sr. age 52 of Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012.Mr. Laukka was of the Baptist faith, born August 2nd, 1960 to his parents Barbara Ann and the late Richard Jack Laukka in Plant City, FL. He was a graduate of Osborne High School, class of 1979 and was a self employed contractor in the building industry, constructing Log and Rural Homes in Gilmer and surrounding Counties. Survivors include wife of 31 years Suzanne H. Laukka of the home in Ellijay, GA., sons Daniel Jack Laukka, Jr. of Ellijay, GA., Andrew Lee Laukka of Ellijay, GA., Joseph Wayne Laukka of Ellijay, GA., mother Barbara Ann Napier of Woodstock, GA., sisters and brothers in law, Crystal & Jonathan Wright of Woodstock, GA., Traci & Rick Wade of Canton, GA., Cindy Daugherity of Woodstock, GA., brothers and sisters in law Richard & Rita Laukka of Big Canoe, GA., David & Kristi Laukka of Hiram, GA. Memorial service will take place 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 25th, 2012 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Bill Quarles officiating. Family will receive friends after the service.
