Sylvia Madeline Roberts Johnson age 78, of the New Hope Community, Ellijay, Georgia passed Thursday, November 29th, 2012, at her residence. Graveside interment services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2012, at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia. Officiating will be Rev. James Bradley.
Survivors include husband Hugh Keith Johnson of the home in Ellijay, Georgia, daughter and son-in-law; Jennifer K. and James P. Ford of Waxhaw, NC, sons and daughter-in-law; Jeffery Keith and Dyanne Johnson of Germantown, Ohio, Jessie Roberts Johnson of Elsmere, Kentucky, five grandchildren, brother; Henry Clay Roberts of Brandon, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by sisters Dorabeth Knowls and Mary Claire Bindig, brother Emory M. Roberts.
