Carl L. Frick, Jr. : Obituary

Mr. Carl L. Frick, Jr., 86 of Ellijay died Sunday Dec. 9, 2012 in Tranquility at Kennesaw Mt. Well Star Community Hospice.

Mr. Frick enlisted in the Navy upon graduation from Freehold, NJ High School, serving in the South Pacific theatre as a radioman and rescue diver. He attended Georgia Technical Institute, was recalled to the Navy during the Korean Conflict, and graduated from GA Tech with a B.A. in Industrial Engineering in 1954. He was employed by the then National Board of Fire Underwriters, now Insurance Services Office, until retiring on disability in 1987 after 33 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey E. Frick, daughter Lorna Ruth Fraser of Glasgow, Scotland; brother, Fredrick Frick of Edgewater, MD; sister M. Diane Beatty of Keansburg, NJ, and grandchildren Miles R. Phillips and Rebecca Jones.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
