Paul and Joan Stanhope were recognized for contribution to Faith, Hope and Charity during annual volunteer Christmas Dinner.
Tom Rippy, Business Manager and Barbara Murray, Store Manager, Faith, Hope and Charity Recycle Store, present the “Commendable Service Award” to Paul and Joan Stanhope for their dedicated service to FHC. Paul and Joan can always be counted on to provide assistance in many areas of the store. They are an outstanding resource and give willingly of their time and expertise for vital functions of the store, their church and their community.
In presenting the award, Store Manager Barbara Murray said:
“To be a good person is commendable, but combined with doing good is exemplary. The store is honored to have both of you as volunteers”.
We, as a store and community, are better for your contributions and to have your association.
Joan and Paul, along with 75 other volunteers, will help FHC return more the $520,000 to the community during 2012. Due to the unique all volunteer nature of the store, approximately .82 cents of every dollar is put to work in Gilmer County.
