Freshman Congressman Doug Collins addressed the Gilmer Club today and is pictured by one of his field staff members and Daren Kendall, one of Senator Saxby Chambliss field staff members.Congressman Collins displayed a knowledge of some of the problems in Washington today. We all hope, that as a freshman Congressman, he will begin to have some success in dealing with these
issues.

Also addressing our Rotarians was Debbie Rucker, manager of Burnt Mountain Center in Jasper. Debbie was accompanied by staff member Tricia Anderson. Burnt Mountain Center works with mentally disabled and mentally retarded individuals ages 16 years and up. Thy currently are serving 85 members. These participants want to feel that they are contributing, and one of the goals of the Center is to make them feel wanted and needed.
