Oren Willard Jones : Obituary

Mr. Oren Willard Jones, age 84, of Ellijay, GA, formerly of Anthony FL, died November 20,2012 .

Mr. Jones was born March 26,1928 in Anthony, FL; the son of the late Otho and Sarah Moore Jones. He was a graduate of Anthony High School , had worked for Alcoa Aluminum and was a member of the Anthony Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Verlue Turbeville Jones.

Survivors include: Daughter and son -in-law: Shirley and Joe Wells of Ellijay, 4 Grandchildren Michael Fox, Melissa Mills, Caroline Kreitz, Larry Godwin, 4 great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 12,2013 at 1:30 pm from the Anthony Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Goodman officiating. The family will meet with friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Jones.
