Sybil Cantrell Rogers : Obituary

Mrs. Sybil Cantrell Rogers, age 74, of Summit Dr. Ellijay died Sunday January 13,2013.

Mrs. Rogers was born February 22,1938, in Gilmer Co. the daughter of Geneva Ralston Cantrell and the late Clinton Cantrell. She was former owner of New Hope Grocery and was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church. Her husband’s Millard Eugene Ellis and Harold Rogers precedes her in the death.

Survivors include: Daughter’s; Angela Strawbridge, and Gina Pettit both of Ellijay, Mother Geneva Cantrell, Ellijay, Brothers; Clark Cantrell and Eddie Cantrell both of Ellijay, Randy Cantrell, Hillsboro, VA. 3 grandchildren Megan O’Neal, Haley Strawbridge, Fulton Pettit. 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 17,2013 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wed. from 3 until 9pm at the Funeral Home
