Francis Raymond George : Obituary

Francis Raymond George, age 66, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed Friday, January 25, 2013, from our local medical facility.Mr. George retired after 31 years of service as a fireman with Baldwinsville, New York. He was a graduate of Baldwinville, New York High School, Class of 1965. Mr. George served his country in The United States Army, during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife Of 24 Years, Gloria Lynn Haffenden George, of the home in Ellijay, Georgia. Daughters and son-in-law; Cheryl and Kevin Perkins of Adams Center, New York, and Michele Garcia of Baldwinville, New York; Five Grandchildren; Sisters, Jean George Colkins of Baldwinsville, New York, Bernedette Gates Kaylor of Pennelville, New York, Peggy Spinner of Arlington, Texas; Brothers Mike and Paul Pickard of Florida, Edward Pickard of Syracuse, New York, and Frank Pickard of Brewerton, New York; and several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. George will be transported to the Saratoga National Cemetery, when arrangements are completed, Monday, January 28th. This announcement will be updated at that time.
