Mildred Key Griggs age 86, passed on Wednesday, January 30th, 2013, of the Whitepath Community in Ellijay, Georgia.She was born on March 14th, 1926, to her late parents, Jonas and Mary Chancey Key, in the Whitepath Community, Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; Deryl and Marilyn Griggs of Ellijay, Georgia, and Ronald and Hilda Griggs of Cumming, Georgia, Grandchildren; Cheryl Griggs Norton, Greg Griggs, Lisa Griggs, Angelia Griggs, and Chris Griggs; Ten Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, also survive. Pallbearers; Greg Norton, Nathan Grizzle, Zach Norton, Greg Griggs, Zack Gassett, Mark Aaron, James Greggs.
Funeral Services will be held At 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, on February 1st, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Emuel Sanford officating, vocals by Greg Norton, followed by a graveside interment service in the Salem Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, in Gilmer County. Flowers are acceptable.
