At 6:10 pm on Sunday February 10th, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was investigating the scene. According to a local source there, two people were shooting at each other around the white mini-van shown in the picture at the corner of Simmons and Tabor Road. The source, who asked we not use their name, also stated that the investigators were still waiting for a search warrant to search the residence.

James Stafford is the owner of the house shown in the picture at 573 Simmons Drive according to Gilmer County Property Tax records.
