Claudel Barrett Ray : Obituary

Mrs. Claudel Barrett Ray age 82 of Dalton, GA formerly of Ellijay died Monday February 25, 2013.

Mrs. Ray was born on February 4, 1931 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Ernest Barrett and Ina Silvers Barrett. She is retired from Dorset Carpet and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband James Ray.

Survivors include: Daughter: Kendra Schmitt, Dalton; Sister: Eulene Sanford, Ellijay; Aunts: Lillian & Bessie Silvers; Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 28, 2013 at 2pm from the Berean Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Jones & Rev. Lamar Payne officiating.

Interment will be held in the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday Feb. 27th from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
