Greetings all,

Saturday is the GOP’s date for Georgia counties under 80,000 population to conduct their conventions and mass meetings. Your Chairman is not standing for re-election. This nations recent disastrous national elections, and the lack of recognition by the National Republican leadership of who they are and what their message should be has sorely disheartened me because it clearly points the GOP to a road less taken, one leading nowhere except into the wilderness. Basically, the GOP, as we know it, has become redundant.

But there is hope. Yesterday, in a nearly 13 hours exercise in uncommon courage, one Senator, Rand Paul of Kentucky, stood up and denounced to the world the socialist agenda of Barak Obama and the direction the Democrat party is moving the nation, especially about who can and cannot kill Americans, where and when and upon what authority.

Paul used the opportunity of the confirmation hearings of Mr. John Brennan, a convert to Islam, for the position of director of the CIA, as his venue for the attack. He was supported by Senator Cruz of Texas, a rookie unafraid to speak out, and several other brave new Senators, in the filibuster process. Well done all.

Instantly, the GOP was moved exponentially into a new era where the urgent need for a change of leadership is apparent and should be forthcoming. They face perils, such as demonstrated by the once Naval aviation hero and now bumbling old fool, Senator John McCain and his idiot sidekick in elitism, Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, who took the floor today to denounce the brave words of Senator Rand Paul as a clumsy effort inimical to the best interests of the Republican Party. Nonsense of course. It inspired and generated a new promise.

The positive response of the American people to the exercise they witnessed in the Senate chamber for thirteen hours last night should be a warning to the old guard that Americans are conservative by heart, totally fed up and that any further effort to “compromise” with Obama will cost the GOP further as well as sealing Americas fate as the new USSA.

All this guessing why we lost is crap. Romney lost because he could not argue against Obamacare. He lost because the base didn’t turn out, at least four million of them didn’t. Why didn’t they believe the conservative message? Because it wasn’t made. The loudly screamed lies by the Obama team were never countered. Our side still listened to the likes of Karl Rove and other professional campaign managers who have lost all their recent campaigns because they cling to ideas that accommodate the Liberals so as not to offend them.

The Republican Party had better start offending some people by telling the voters, over and over again, the conservative principles of smaller government, free enterprise and lower taxes. We don’t hear those arguments any more at all.

I had to say that. Relinquishing the county leadership role as Chairman will allow me to refocus my efforts on finding and supporting real conservative candidates and exposing those that fail muster. And that I intend to do.
