Mrs. Nancy Sue Downs age 64 of Crestview Dr Ellijay died Saturday March 9,2013.
Mrs. Downs was born March 24,1948 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the Walter and Dorthea Shakley Powell. She worked as a teller for Bank of America and was a member of the Covenant Community Church.
Survivors include: Husband: John Downs of the home in Ellijay Daughter: Jessica Henry, Sevierville, TN, Brother William Powell, Middlesex, PA Sister, Patricia Powell, Beaumont, TX 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held Saturday March 16,2013 at 5:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Fields officiating. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends from 4 until 5 pm Sat. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 200 West Emery St. Suite 3, Dalton Ga. 30720.
