Catherine Mullinax Waddell : Obituary

Mrs. Catherine Mullinax Waddell age 91 of Ellijay died Thursday March 14, 2013.

Mrs. Waddell was born on May 10, 1921 in Gilmer County. She is the daughter of the late Gordon Mullinax and Effie Holden Mullinax. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay and was an avid quilter. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clarence Waddell.

Surv ivors include: Daughters & sons-in-law: Norma Cloer, Ellijay, Cathy & Hyatt Tankersley, Ellijay, Sandy & John Tatum, Jasper; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 17, 2013 at 2pm from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Dr. David Drake, Rev. James Holt & Pastor Steve Fields officiating.

Interment will be held in the Northcutt Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 16th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ellijay Building Fund @ 164 Dalton St. Ellijay, GA 30540 or to the Northcutt Cemetery @ P.O. Box 502 East Ellijay, GA 30539 in memory of Mrs. Waddell.
