J.L. Painter : Obituary

Mr. J.L. Painter age 66 of Ellijay died Thursday March 14, 2013.

Mr. Painter was born on February 17, 1947 in Gilmer Co. He is the son of the late James E. Painter and Georgia Aletha Daves Painter. He worked as a concrete finisher and was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his wife Martha Lowery Painter.

Survivors include: Daughter & son-in-law: Shanda & Gary Mathews, Ellijay; Grandchildren: Brittany & Jonathan Henderson Tiffany & Jacob Mathews; Great grandchild: Easton Henderson; Brother: Buck Painter, Dalton; Sisters: Linda Harrison, Dalton, Nancy Williams, Chatsworth; Special Nephews: James Painter & Alex Williams; Special Aunt: Dorothy Painter, Dalton; Special Family Member: Eddie Rogers; Brothers in-law: Bobby Lowery, Ellijay, Jack Lowery, Ellijay, Roger Lowery, Dalton; Sisters in-law: Lula Beard, Chatsworth, Pam Lowery, Ellijay; Several nieces, nephews & cousins also survive.

Memorial services will be held Sunday March 17, 2013 at 3:00pm from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday March 17th from 2:30pm until 3:00pm at the Flat Creek Baptist Church
