Mr. James Edward Garrett age 57, of the Tails Creek Community Ellijay, passed on Sunday April 28th, 2013 at the North Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Garrett was born on November 28, 1955 to his late parents Ross and Kitty Margaret Ray Garrett in Ellijay, GA. He was a professional truck driver for over 40 years and was employed by East-West Trucking.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday May 4th, 2013 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. H.T. James officiating. Interment services will be scheduled at a later date.
Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife Pam Adams Garrett of Ellijay; Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Katherine and Larry Parker of Ellijay, Felisity and Lamar Miller of Dalton, GA, Jessica Garrett, Orlando, FL; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Jeremy Garrett and Tonya Brooks of Ellijay, Cody and Julie Fowler of Canton, GA; Grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah and Katie Parker, D.J. Marshall, Ja’lan Garrett, Cobie Miller, Autumn, Christian and Cylan Fowler, Shannon and Jordan Fowler and Mikaela Garrett; Great Grandchild, Katherine Harmony Marshall; Sister, Idell G. Teasley of Ellijay.
The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the Logan Funeral Home.
