Inzy McArthur : Obituary

Inzy Dockery McArthur age 77 of the Cartecay Community of Ellijay, GA., passed on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 from the North GA. Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith, born January 26th, 1936 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, GA., and worked as a production worker at Robert Shaw Industries. Mrs. McArthur is preceded in death by brothers Wilburn & William Dockery and sisters Alene Lakin and Callie Dockery. Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Danny McArthur, 154 Lower Tails Creek Road, Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Inzy McArthur.

Survivors include husband of 59 years Lloyd A. McArthur of the home in Ellijay; daughters and sons-in-law Darlene & Herb White of Liberty, TN, Virginia and Ed Findley of Ellijay, GA, Glenda & Arlan Allison of Ellijay, GA, Nancy & Dwayne House of Oregon City, OR; sons and daughters-in-law Lloyd & Gwen McArthur of Ellijay, GA, Mark & Angie McArthur of Ellijay, GA., Wesley & Mary McArthur of Ellijay, GA.; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Lester & Linda Dockery of Calhoun, GA.; sisters and brothers-in-law Dora Jane & Melvin Carum of Chatsworth, GA.. Rachel & Calon Taylor of Murphy, NC.

Funeral service will be held at Ridgeway Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 17th, 2013 with Rev. Jerry Banks and Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17th at the Logan Funeral Home.
