Mrs. Rachel J. Ridings age 70 of Tailscreek Rd Ellijay died Sunday June 16, 2013.

Mrs. Ridings was born Oct. 20, 1942 in Sulphur, LA the daughter of the late Robert and Louise Johnson. She worked as a waitress for Waffle King and was member of the Harvest Missionary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Ridings.

Survivors include: Son: Gene Ridings, Ellijay, Daughter: Mary Mulkey, Ellijay, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday June 17, 2013 from 4:00 until 9pm at the funeral home.
