Mr. Ernest “John” Greenway age 70 of Ellijay, GA died Monday June 24, 2013.

Mr. Greenway was born April 20, 1943 in Gilmer County to the late Clarence and Lucy Buchanan Greenway. He was a Truck Driver and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by brother, Mark Greenway.

Survivors include: Sons and Daughters in-law: Dennis & Trisha Greenway, Jasper Stanley & Cristy Greenway, Jasper Steven & Diane Greenway, Ellijay Darrell Greenway, Benton, TN; Daughters and Sons in-law: Annette & Wayne Cross, Fairmount, GA Rhonda Greenway, Etowah, TNBrothers: Eddie Greenway, Mineral Bluff, GA Joe Greenway, Moss Lake, WA Gary Greenway, Chatsworth, GA Randy Greenway, Chatsworth, GA; Sisters: Janice Nicholson, Blue Ridge, GA Anita Long, Centerville, TN; 8 Grandchildren; 3 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday June 28th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy O’Tanger officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday June 27th from 6pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
