Mr. Lanny W. Davis age 54 of Savannah Lane Ellijay died Tuesday July 2, 2013.

Mr. Davis was born Dec. 17, 1958 in Gilmer County the son of Adell Pittman Davis and the late Willie C. Davis. Mr. Davis worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include; Son; Arthur Nicholson , Ellijay and daughter; Kale Nicholson of Talking Rock; mother Adell Davis, Ellijay, brother Danny Davis, Ellijay, sisters: Verdie Mae Davis, Crandall, Velvet Goble, Ellijay, Linda Martin, Dalton, 2 grandchildren Kurt, Arthur Nicholson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 5, 2013 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 10:00am until 4:00pm at the funeral home.
