On July 22, 2013, the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post 442 promoted three officers. Congratulations to Jacob McVey, Sergeant; Brittany Waldrip, Lieutenant; and Elizabeth Hopper, Captain. Sheriff Nicholson was on hand at this meeting to personally promote each of them. We are proud of all of our Explorers for their continued dedication to this program.
