Mrs. Jeanette E. Jackson age 77 of Ellijay, GA died Friday August 2, 2013.Mrs. Jackson was born May 4, 1936 in Colquitt Co. to the late Carl and Mary Julia Sellers Alligood. She was an inspector for Owens Corning and a member of the New Vision Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen D. Jackson Sr.

Survivors Include: Sons: James Norman, Middleville, MI, Owen Jackson Jr., Ellijay, Clifford E. Jackson, Albany, GA, John O. Jackson, Ellijay; Daughter: Caroline Walters, Ellijay; Brothers: Lenwood Alligood, Jacksonville, FL, Jackie Alligood, Middleburg, FL; 18 Grandchildren; Many Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and Friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 3rd at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Irene Wofford officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday August 5th at 3pm from the Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday August 3rd from 11am until 1pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
