Lois Griffith : Obituary

Miss Lois Faynette Griffith age 88 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed on Thursday, August 15th, 2013 from the North Georgia Medical Center.She was a member of Whitestone Baptist Church, was a graduate of Pickens County High School, Class of 1944, and Chattanooga Technical School. Miss Griffith is preceded in death by brothers Duane Griffith, J.J. Griffith, and Truman Griffith.

Survivors include sister Lucille Griffith McMullen of Jasper, GA; sister-in-law Maxine Towery Griffith of Ellijay, GA; nephews and spouse Joseph Griffith of Ellijay, GA; Dennis and Susan Griffith of Ft. Myers, FL; great-nephews Adam, Matthew and Eric Griffith; several cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 18th, 2013 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Johnson and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating, music and vocals by Regina Morgan. Graveside interment will follow in the McCravey Cemetery in Whitestone. Pallbearers will be Adam Griffith, Matthew Griffith, Eric Griffith, Bernard James, Douglas Towery, Joe Towery, Deryl Hyde, Paul Hause and Michael Watkins.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Logan Funeral Home, family requests no food be brought to the funeral home.
