It’s time to celebrate the life of Commissioner Randy Bell. His family would like to let everyone know that in lieu of flowers please make donations in Honor of Randy Bell to the American Cancer Society or Homeward Bound. Please know all friends are invited to celebrate Randy’s life with his family this Saturday, September 7th 2013. Sheriff Stacy Nicholson and EMS Director Tony Pritchett have arranged for a procession in honor of Randy Bell. The procession will leave the parking lot of Bernhart Funeral Home at 10:30 am, go around the Square and proceed down Main Street (Hwy.5) to the ETC Pavilion on Legion Road.
The Memorial Service will begin at 11am followed by a meal with Randy’s family and friends at 12:00 noon. Gilmer County let’s show our love to his family that we all have for Randy and the appreciation for his devotion to Gilmer County by bringing your favorite dish (meat, side dish, or dessert, drinks). Someone will be available at 10am if anyone would like to drop food off at the ETC Pavilion. Please understand there is limited seating at the pavilion so bring a lawn chair.
