Mr. James Paul Burnett age 86 of Katie Lane Dacula, GA died Saturday September 7, 2013.Mr. Burnett was born April 30, 1927 in Eatonton, GA the son of the late John E. and Josie Matthews Burnett . He worked in automobile parts industry, was a veteran serving with the US Army in Korea and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Gosser Burnett.
Survivors include: Son: Steve Burnett, Tampa, FL, daughters: Cindy Owen, Dacula, Arlene Woody, Smyrna, Terri Janbier, Pennie Flores both of Tacoma, WA 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wed. Sept, 11, 2013 at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Owen officiating. Interment will be in the Pisgah Church of Christ cemetery with graveside rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
