Mrs. Maxine Davenport age 86 of Athens, TN died Wednesday September 18, 2013.Mrs. Davenport was born May 16, 1927 in Double Springs, AL to the late Winston Elsie and Ottie Madison Lovette. She was factory worker and homemaker. She is of the Church of God Faith. Mrs. Davenport is preceded in death by husband, Cloys Davenport, sister, Cleo Middleton and brother, Junior Lovette.
Survivors Include: Son: David Davenport, Sweetwater, TN; Daughters: Wanda Willis, Athens, TN, Linda Ballew, Cleveland, TN; 2 Brothers; 1 Sister; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild
Funeral Services will be held Friday September 20th at 1pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday September 20th from 11am until 1pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
