Mrs. Bernicesteen Stover Bryant, age 84 of Ellijay, Georgia died on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Gilmer Nursing Home in Ellijay, Georgia.She was born Wednesday, June 19, 1929 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Charlie Harrison Stover and Pearl Stover. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ellijay. Ms. Bryant is preceded in death by daughter Brenda Bryant, and sisters Madelyn King (twin sister), Hazel Stover, Carmen Stover and brothers Vernon and Prescott Stover.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday September 22nd, 2013 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ellijay with Min. Jerry Robertson officiating. A private interment will take place in the Ellijay City Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, son and in-laws Mary and Terry Parmer of Rocky Face. GA., Carol and Grady Defore of Tunnel Hill, GA., Bill and Retha Bryant of Cleveland, TN., grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Faye Goggin of Belleview, MO.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Logan Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ellijay at 96 Craig Street Suite 3112-192 Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mrs. Bryant.
