Ms. Martha Jean Whittemore age 47 of Annie Mae Lane Ellijay died Friday October 4, 2013.Ms. Whittemore was born May 8, 1966 in Ringgold, GA the daughter of Edward Whittemore, Sr. and Avory Land Whittemore. She worked as a substitute teacher for Gilmer County School system and was a Christian.

Survivors include: Children: Justin Lowman, Mitchell Lowman and Chad Rollins all of Ellijay, Parents Edward and Avory Whittemore, Ellijay, Brothers: Edward Whittemore, James Whittemore, Laurence Whittemore all of Ellijay, Sisters: Nancy Lockhart, Tellico Plains TN, Lula Whittemore , Mary Hall both of Ellijay, Clytie Mullins, Calhoun, Ga, Lillian Creel, East Ridge, TN, one grandchild, Robert Tanner Rollins.

Graveside services will be held Monday October 7, 2013 at 11:00am from the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Pat Shelton officiating.

The family will meet with friends Sunday October 6, 2013 from 2 until 6pm at the funeral home.
