GA DOT Resumes Mowing Activities on Northwest GA Highways

GA DOT resumes mowing on 24 highways in northwest Georgia. Tuesday, October 15 through Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.WHERE: Bartow County: State Route (SR) 20 Spur, SR 293 and Highway 41 Carroll County: SR 5
Chattooga County: SR 100 Dade County: SR 299 Floyd County: SR 293, SR 100 and SR 140
Gilmer County: SR 136 and SR 382 Gordon County: SR 225 and SR 136 Murray County: SR 2 and SR 225 Pickens County: SR136 Connector and SR 53 Polk County: SR 100 and SR 1/US 27 Walker County: SR 1/US 27, SR 151, SR 136 and SR 157 Whitfield County: SR 71.

Georgia DOT’s maintenance crews will be mowing the roadsides of SR 20 Spur, SR 293 and Highway 41 in Bartow County; the roadsides of SR 5 in Carroll County, SR 100 in Chattooga County and SR 299
in Dade County; roadsides of SR 293, SR 100 and SR 140 in Floyd County; roadsides of SR 136 and
SR 225 in Gilmer County; roadsides of SR 2 and SR 225 in Murray County; roadsides of SR 136
Connector and SR 53 in Pickens County; roadsides of SR 100 and SR 1/US 27 in Polk County;
roadsides of US 27, SR 136 and SR 157 in Walker County; and roadsides of SR 71 in Whitfield
County. Work will proceed daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.
