Mrs. Estella Pierce Southerland age 75 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday October 23, 2013.Mrs. Southerland was born April 8, 1938 in Gilmer Co. to the late Guy and Cora Ann Silver Pierce. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church and worked for Blue Carpet. Mrs. Southerland is preceded in death by her son, Edward Southerland.

Survivors include: Daughter: Barbara Teasley, Mont Eagle, TN; Brothers: Alfred, Wallace and Waldo Pierce, all of Ellijay; Sisters: Mary Nell Troglin and Helen Greer, both of Ellijay; 2 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 26th at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Interment will follow in the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday October 25th from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
