Mr. Billy Watkins age 77 of Ellington Rd. Ellijay, GA died Tuesday October 29, 2013.Mr. Watkins was born July 23, 1936 in Gilmer Co. to the late Bob and Nettie Champion Watkins. He was a veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Watkins is preceded in death by son, Michael Wesley Watkins, brothers, Robert, Hub and Cecil Watkins.

Survivors Include: Wife of 48 years Lena Mae Watkins, of the home; Daughter Pam Rhodes, Ellijay; Sister Dorothy Sellers, Blue Ridge; 1 Grandchild Jake Rhodes, Ellijay.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday October 31st at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Shelton and Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating.

Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery with Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 30th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhard Funeral Home.
