William “Billy” J. Patterson : Obituary

Mr. William “ Billy’’ Patterson, age 78 of Goose Island Road, Cherry Log, died Monday October 28, 2013.Mr. Patterson was born May 3, 1935 in Logan, West, VA, the son of the late Larkin Bill and Mae Cornett Patterson. He was a merchant, having operated Cherry Log Grocery for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents and a special friend Genette Rogers.

Survivors include: sisters: Barbara P. Ostrowski and Carolyn P. McCook, both of Cherry Log, nephews and spouses, Donald P. and Becky, Ostrowski, Jr., Glen Allen, VA, Christopher and Rebekah McCook, Richmond, VA, several great nephews and nieces also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 30,2013, at 2pm, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday October 29,2013 from 4 until 8 pm at the funeral home.

Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
