Mrs. Mary Lanning Goble, age 89 of Dalton, formerly of Ellijay, passed Thursday, October 31st, 2013, from the Ridgewood Manor in Dalton, GA. Mrs. Goble was born December 4th, 1923 in Canton, Cherokee county, GA, to her late parents, Thomas Andrew and Minnie Cochran Lanning. She was a member of Turniptown Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Margaret and Dennis Head of Dalton, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Hal E. Goble of Dalton, GA, Karl D. and Linda Goble, Resaca, GA; 6 Grandchildren; 4 Great grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grand-daughter, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3rd, 2013 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Marty Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2p.m. until 7p.m. Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 at the Logan Funeral Home.
