The Elitist Mentality is Destructive

What we see in the recent gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia this week is indicative of the schism between the Republican Party moderate elitist, the country club Republicans who pick our candidates for us, and the base conservative grass root folks who don’t like them, won’t vote for them and will stand on the shore while the Republican version of the Titanic slowly sinks into the oblivion of progressive socialism, taking all with it.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky) was quoted in today’s Washington Times of pulling all GOP commercial support from the companies and organizations that supported Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and other TEA Party Republicans. McConnell’s Chief of Staff, Josh Holmes set the tone when he told the New York Times: “S.C.F. (Senate Conservative Fund) has been wandering around the country destroying the Republican Party like a drunk who tears up every bar they walk into. The difference this cycle is that they strolled into Mitch McConnell’s bar and he doesn’t throw you out, he locks the door.” That is throwing down the gauntlet.

Is there an answer? Of course, pick up the gauntlet and stop sending your donations to the RNC. They apparently don’t use ‘em anyway, given that they only sent three million to the Cuccinelli campaign while the Democrats spent fifteen million on McAuliffe’s campaign, not counting the millions they spent on the Libertarian candidate, an Obama supporter anyway. The lesson here is that lots of money wins, Obamacare is poison and Democrats cheat.

Therefore, I suggest that your donations should be made first, to the conservative candidate of your choice, then the Senate Conservative Fund, Heritage Action, Madison Project, and/or Freedom Works, organizations that all supported tea party candidates. Forget the RNC. They have lost our trust and are unworthy of further support and must be absorbed by the base.

However, the RNC will naturally ignore the base as “fringe”, traitors”, and “wacko’s and will continue to think and act in terms that the Democrats and their leftist media acolytes suggest to them. Think “Pavlov’s Dog!” Inside the beltway thinking is polluted by proponents (progressives) of the very social and economic philosophies conservative America is trying to reverse if not destroy, no thanks to the RNC.

I have predicted that Chris Christie will be the odds on favorite as our presidential candidate in 2016 because he fits the north-eastern moderate, liberal Republican profile so beloved by the elites. The priming process is already underway. Carl Rove loves him and apparently so does CNN as well. When CNN starts touting our candidate for us, look out America because soon as he becomes our candidate they will destroy him right before our very eyes. If the Republican party is to survive, and by extension, a Christian conservative America, then the GOP must be renewed from the inside. It’s time to throw the bums out. We can start with McDonnell.

“Rearranging the chairs on the Titanic” is now an old cliche. It’s enough that the ship sank. I heard a great descriptive metaphor of the Republican Party today. Imagine you are in the stadium of your favorite baseball team. The RNC leaders are there too, but high up in the enclosed, air-conditioned suites with the other ‘swells’, while the rest of us are down in the wooden bench bleacher section, yet we are all rooting for the same team. Those guys in the sky box’s don’t want to come down to the bleachers and will kill to stay there. How’s that for a metaphor? Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Go get ‘em!
