I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the people involved in the recent election. I enjoyed the chance to get to know more people in our community and form some new friendships.
Although I wasn’t successful in my first attempt in serving on the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners; it was an avenue for me to gain greater insight into the operations of our county and to learn the thoughts and concerns of many of my fellow citizens.
I appreciate all the help and I am grateful for every vote I received and rest assured I will continue to find additional ways to serve my community.
I love Gilmer County and plan to live here, work here, and most importantly raise my children here.
I am strongly encouraged to continue in my quest to find a way to help make positive progressive changes in any way I can to help our area become revitalized.
Congratulations to the two candidates in the runoff and I will continue to pray for all our leaders.
God Bless You All,
Jenifer Hendershot
