Mr. Wesley Richards age 71 of Southern Rd Ellijay, died Thursday November 21, 2013.Mr. Richards was born October 10, 1942 in Gilmer Co the son of the late Frank and Myrtle Ellis Richards. He was a retired auto tech having worked for Jasper Jeep for many years and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife: Renda West Richards; son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Pam Richards, Ellijay; daughter and son-in law Sherri and Scott Bolton, Cumming; 2 grandchildren, Justin Richards and Michelle Thomason; great grandchild: Michael Thomason; Brothers and sisters in –law: Leslie and Joyce Richards, Hubert and Izell Richards, Rev. Paul and Linda Richards, all of Ellijay; Sisters and brothers in law: Frances and Clarence Mulkey, Ellijay, Alva and Ralph Cobb, Decatur; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 23rd 3pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks, Rev. Billy Cantrell, Rev. Scott Chastain and Rev. Paul Richards officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday November 22nd from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
