Mrs. Mary Gayton Reece age 74 of Pike Rd Ellijay died Wednesday November 27, 2013.Mrs. Reece was born August 31, 1940 in Gilmer county the daughter of the late Sam and Sylvia Ridley Gayton. She worked in the retail industry and was of the Baptist Faith. He husband Lewis Reece preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son; Roscoe Reece, Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law; Sandra and Arnold Cantrell, Blue Ridge, Grand-daughter: Ablaza Reece, Ellijay, Great-grandchild; Carson Fowler., Sisters; Ellen Johnson, and Martha Pickering, both of Dawsonville.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt funeral Home with Rev. Roger Burgess officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends from 4 until 9pm Saturday at the funeral home.
