Jewell Mulkey Jones : Obituary

Mrs. Jewell Belle Mulkey Jones age 94 of Tabor Rd. Ellijay, GA died Thursday December 19, 2013.Mrs. Jones was born August 3, 1919 in Pickens Co. to the late Lesley and Lula Tatum Mulkey. She was a housewife and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Jones.

Survivors Include Sons Jimmy and Darrell Jones, both of Ellijay; Daughters Oveline Lynn LaRue, Brenda Thurman, Carolyn Pankey, Beverley McDaniel, Lou Jean Hill and Doris Gunn, all of Ellijay; Brother Dwain Mulkey, Ellijay; 16 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday December 22nd at 2pm from the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Stover, Rev. Roger Burgess and Rev. Russell Burt officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday December 21st from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
