Mrs. Jeannie Marlow Pittman, age 73 of Ellijay, Georgia died on Friday, December 20, 2013, at the North Georgia Medical Center.Born Friday, July 12, 1940 in Blue Ridge, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Fred Marlow and the late Cora Stamie Marlow. Mrs. Pittman was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Burley Pittman.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James “Bubba” and Diane “Shorty” Pittman of Ellijay, GA, Randy and Michelle Pittman of Ellijay, GA, Johnny Pittman of Ellijay, GA and Special Son, James Defoor of Ellijay, GA, daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Rev. Mitchell Pack of Ellijay, GA, Tammy and Rev. Chris Corbin of Chatsworth, GA and Allison Hammontree of Cumming, GA, brothers, Howard Marlow of Ludville, GA and Jerry Marlow of Ellijay, GA, sister, Frankie Henson of Murphy, NC; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday December 23rd, 2013 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dotson, Rev. Emmett Burgess, Rev. Roy Griggs, Rev. Joey Patterson, Rev. Jamie Kerr and Rev. Chris Corbin officiating. Music will be by the McArthur family. Graveside Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
