Ernest Owen Clark, age 81, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday evening, December 28, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. He was born March 2nd, 1932 in Blue Ridge, GA., to his late parents William Emory and Della Garland Clark. Ernest owned and operated Clark’s Used Cars and Parts, and was a member of Pisgah Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Sandi and Max Frady of Ellijay, GA.; son Philip Clark of Ellijay, GA.; grandchildren Jamie Frady, Courtney Frady, Cheyenne Frady, and Libby Welch; sister and brother-in-law Wylene and Clyde Mullinax of Ellijay, GA.; brothers and sisters-in-law Carl and Ernestine Clark of Ellijay, GA, and Roy and Debra Clark of Ellijay, GA.
Funeral services will be held at Logan Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2013, with Min. Butch Jones and Rev. Roger Burgess officiating. Pallbearers will be Jamie Frady, Sid Brooks, Wimp Grant, Brett Brooks, Eddy Mullinax, Jason Pierce, Bobby Pettit, Rev. Roger Burgess, Mack Aaron and Jerry Cole. Interment will follow at the Cartecay UMC Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Logan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pisgah Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, c/o Roger Edmondson, 265 Turtle Ridge Road, Ellijay, GA., 30536, in memory of Mr. Clark.
