Mr. D.H. Cole, Jr. age 93 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday 19, 2014.Mr. Cole was born March 31, 1920 in Washington, DC to the late Dalie H. Cole, Sr. and Mary Cole. He attended the First United Methodist Church of Ellijay and was member of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Maryland. Mr. Cole was also a US Navy Veteran and a member of the Oak Bowery Lodge.
Survivors Include: Wife Thelma Cole, of the home; Son and Daughter in-law James H. and Bliss Cole, Ellijay; 1 Grandchild Jennifer Cole Miller, Roswell, GA; 3 Great Grandchildren Annabeth, Caroline and Cole W. Miller; Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday February 23rd at 3pm from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Barton and Brother Edmund Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday February 22nd from 5pm until 8pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
