Farrell Crooke : Obituary

Mr. Farrell Crooke age 77 of East Ellijay, GA died Monday February 24, 2014.Mr. Crooke was born August 22, 1936 in Gilmer County to the late James and Vesta Key Crooke. He was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church, he was heavy equipment operator, enjoyed collecting and restoring old automobiles, and a former member of the Apple Country Car Club.

Survivors Include: Wife, Shirley Crooke, of the home; Son, Doug Crooke, Ellijay; Daughter and Son in-law, Sherri and Tom Hulsey, Ellijay; Sisters and Brothers in-law, Evelyn and James Hensley, Ellijay, Linda and Buddy Talbott, Jasper and Inez Jones; 4 Grandchildren, Haley and Jessica Crooke, Taylor and Evan Frady.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 26th at 2pm from the Clear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Banks, Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Coy Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February 25th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be to the Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Brent Sanford at 187 Bible Baptist Road, Ellijay, GA 30536 in memory of Mr. Crooke.

The family request no green plants be sent to the funeral home.
