Gilmer Nursing Home Holds Annual Pageant

The Gilmer Nursing Home held their 37th Annual Pageant on Thursday, February 27th.The theme for the evening was all from the fifties down to poodle skirts and a Harley. Activity Director, Tammy Baker and everyone who assisted in making the evening a success outdid themselves once again. The entertainment for the evening was provided by Cleve Oliver and the Riverpark Band. The award winners were escorted by the American Legion Riders. Awards are as follows:

Best Personality: Hayes Brown
Most Popular: Betty Gilreath
Best Looking Male: Clyde Abercrombie
Best Looking Female: Maryjane Spiess
Volunteer of the Year: Pauline Mullinax

King Court:
Bruce Patterson – 3rd Runner-up
Pete Morgan – 2nd Runner-up
Milford Farist- 1st Runner-up

Queen Court:
Rita Johnson – 3rd Runner-up
Debbie Bowen – 2nd Runner-up
Sarah Phillips – 1st Runner-Up
